Great game but wont full screen on iPad mini

When I first played the lite version I knew I wanted this game, after some time I decided to buy it. Only problem was after I got to chapter 6 the game lost about an inch at the top of the screen to a black banner. I contacted the developers and they told me they would fix it.... That was 1.5 months ago and still nothing please fix this issue. Or am I the only one?
